This homemade pizza is made with our easy pizza sauce and our 4 ingredient simple pizza dough.

We love using a pizza stone or pizza steel to bake our pizzas on. It cooks the pizza crust perfectly!

This is the pefect fresh tomato sauce that can be used right on Pasta, into other dishes, or to make a pizza.

Ingredients

Directions

  • To Make Pizza
  • Place your pizza stone / steel into the oven and turn the temperature to 550 degrees F. Preheat the stone for 40 minutes.
  • While pizza stone is heating roll out pizza dough on a piece of parchment paper to about 10-12 inches around
  • Top each pizza with 1/2 cup of pizza sauce
  • Top pizza sauce with 1/4 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Top cheese with sliced pepperoni
  • Add any other toppings that you want on your pizza and finish it off with another 1/4 cup of shredded cheese (I added slices of fresh mozz and tomatoes)
  • Coat all exposed dough with olive oil
  • Place the pizza and parchment paper right on top of your stone / steel inside of the oven and bake 10-12 minutes
  • Remove from the oven, slice, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Serve with fresh garlic bread or a salad.

    Tip: from someone who makes pizza from scratch every Friday. Grease up a large cast iron frying pan to cook your pizza in, easier than a stone.
